Have been working with Jack for about 3/4 of a year. Got his name from some folks in the know with USA PL. I have found Jack very responsive and responsible. Available at all times via text and returns calls in a very timely manner. He has listened to me and adjusts the program in very near real time, as things arise. Have found him to be pretty creative with mixing up the program to meet my injuries as well as equipment I have in my home gym. I have gone through (too) many online coaches/trainers/programmers and have stuck with Jack because he delivers! I do not feel just like a “client” or number. I am a Masters 3 lifter and have issues with recovery/training that folks 40 years younger do not. He has helped me achieve lifetime PRs in my last meet and helped me to become Pennsylvania State Champion in 2022. If you are tired of going through the “big name” programming services (RTS, Kabuki, etc), you should give Jack a try. I have been impressed and pleased with what he provides!
I’ve been working with Jack for the better part of a year now (or longer?). It started after I was getting burned out from training, meet after meet, I was working non stop to get myself where I wanted to be. But I was done, I needed a break. So I took some time off, and then hit up Jack to help me get back on my feet. And it was the best choice I could have made! Starting myself from scratch, I worked with Jack on nutrition to help me drop weight and fight that ongoing fatigue I had from overworking myself. Jack worked so hard with me, as I tried every week to hit my goals and get my workouts in. On the bad days, he’d just say “we’ll get it next time brother!” And I’d be even more motivated than I was before. Jack worked with me to try different combinations (almost every other week) to really help me get dialed in for a good training plan. Jack’s willingness to work with me through good weeks and the bad really motivates me to do the best for myself I can. Its not IF I go to the gym that day, its WHEN. And I owe that to Jack, who got me here.
This is my review of Brickhouse Bench Program. 1st met Jack back in 2015 at the USAPL Bench Nationals. It was a brief meeting, but from what I saw, he knew the bench press pretty well. Fast forward to September 2018, I was dealing with strength issues, so I finally reached out to Jack for some help. Main goal was to get this bench press number up. In no ways am I a new lifter. I began lifting 20 years ago. So I will say this, each week Jack tested me, pushed me too my limits, which I need. Right off the bat I knew I picked the right guy to help me out. He said I would be doing dips, pull-ups things I usually didn’t do. After working with Jack these past few months I have made some huge gains, not just in strength, body composition has changed as well. Jack knows his stuff, and truly made me a believer in Brickhouse. Thank you Jack for all of your help so far.
BRICKHOUSE has been the best thing that has happened to me since I have been an athlete. After making the decision to work with Jack and laying out my goals he gave me a clear path and guidance of how to get there. Jack is not only a phenomenal coach but a great friend as well! He has guided me through multiple powerlifting meets and has helped me through a cutting plan to get in more aesthetic shape for my own personal career! I have worked with Brickhouse for many years. To say that Jack is THE BEST trainer out there is a massive understatement. We all go through things and have setbacks, trials and tribulations that effect our ability and motivation to train. Jack is able to understand and relate to all of these things on a very personal level because he has gone through much of the same. He brings patience and a level of understanding that most other trainers simply cannot hold a candle to. Not only does he understand, but he knows from personal experience what it takes to get knocked down by life and circumstances that are not fair, and he is able to take that knowledge and use it to the benefit of himself and his clients. Whether that’s empathizing with a situation or knowing when to give you a swift kick in your ass, Jack is able to see through the BS and push you when you need it most. I’ll never forget the time when I told him I let my training slip and gained some weight… he told me, “What the f!!! I’m going to punch you in the face. Stop F***ing around and get to WORK!!!” Hahaha! In all seriousness, Brickhouse simply knows what it takes. If you are someone who’s looking to waste their time, and just wants someone to tell them what they want to hear, then Brickhouse ain’t the place. However, if you are looking for a trainer that will work for YOU, not give you these cookie cutter diet and workout plans, who will listen to you and your concerns, and adjust your training accordingly, and also put you in check and call you out when you need it… if you want someone who is trustworthy, honest, has integrity personally and professionally… someone with YEARS of experience… and most importantly, if you want LASTING RESULTS with a healthier lifestyle, then look no further….. BRICKHOUSE is where you need to be!! BRICKHOUSE is the ONLY place… JACK is the ONLY trainer I will ever trust and go to for training!!
